Short moments of calm between storms and upheavals are just enough for those who live there to regain a bit of faith… only to face the next blow with quiet resilience. Yet their situation does not improve. The scars remain. The death or injury of loved ones, the loss of a home, the disappearance of a lifetime’s modest possessions…

Indifference is not an option. We can try—at least a little—to help, to ease the burden they carry.

On August 9th, at the picturesque Kudłacze Glade near Myślenice, we gathered with our volunteers and our “little candidates” to celebrate the first anniversary of the Footprint Foundation.
It was a day full of joy, conversations, plans for the months ahead, and above all, deep gratitude.

What we take from our first year:
