Yet their situation does not improve. The scars remain. The death or injury of loved ones, the loss of a home, the disappearance of a lifetime’s modest possessions…

Indifference is not an option. We can try—at least a little—to help, to ease the burden they carry.

Together with the people of Munami, teachers, and parents, we are launching the construction of a new Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) center that will provide care and learning opportunities for up to 300 children aged 3 to 6.
But this is not just a school — it is:
a chance for educational equality,
a powerful step toward long-term social change,
a project with deep community roots and strong local support.
Why does it matter?

The project, “The Global South Is Closer Than You Think”, is a series of meetings, stories, and actions that bring us closer to the everyday lives, challenges, and dreams of people living in Africa and Asia.
At the heart of this project is the human being – their story, their perspective, their voice. Together, we aim to build bridges between continents, cultures, and generations. To educate with empathy. To speak with respect. To leave a footprint – a good one.
The first event of the series takes place on May 20th in Bielsko-Biała.
